CAUGHT THAT FROG ON A BIG BOMB ONCE AT THE SWAMP WHEN HE WOULD RACE SOME OF THE MATINEE CARDS!!! ANYONE KNOW WHERE HE WENT? I HEARD UPSTATE TO SARATOGA BUT I'M UNSURE. DOES HE STILL DRIVE?

I believe he retired due to back problems. He is now employed by the USTA, doing field work for implanting and ID of horses.

He had a horrific accident in 2017 that left him partially paralyzed at first, although thankfully he recovered. Took a job for the USTA as a Horse ID Technician. His wife trained a small stable at Saratoga pre-pandemic. Very talented driver. Career winner of over 8500 races and once won 11 races in a row in one day over two tracks. Maybe a bit ironic, but after he left Montreal, it was Bill Robinson who picked him out and offered him driving opportunities. He landed at Yonkers and the rest as they say is history.

He drove several races for me. Always got a fair shake, nice guy.
Broke back and neck in bad wreck at Saratoga. Remember it well. Horse named Mr. Miami went down in front of him.

He was a good driver back in the day, he did drive exclusively for Robinson for a while, it's funny Bill tried to get a young Brian Sears at first, he wouldn't commit so he later got Bouchard. Had a good career until his accident. Glad to hear he's doing ok.
