"The Big M has been lighting it up in a big way lately,” said track Chief Operating Officer and General Manager Jason Settlemoir. “The last three Saturday nights of racing have seen the cumulative handle exceed $10 million. The popularity of the Big M signal has certainly exceeded expectations in recent weeks, especially since we have extended our post time drag to over 30 minutes in some cases.  Longer gaps between races means more dollars in our handle. It's just a fact." said Settlemoir.

Drag to avoid overlapping is a good thing, but there's going to be a point of diminishing return and hurt.
