Great meet and its more than just a few months. I like that smaller stables win races, get prices. Its not dominated by a Burke or that kinda trainer. My fav track as well. The 10 post gets overlooked often- another good angle. The track configuration is good. Any track will have short prices here and there- HOP gets usually good payoffs.

Definitely the only real racetrack in the midwest. Northfield a distant second.

Horrible drivers and at best it’s a B track. They try hard but Hoosier is really the EPO capital of harness racing juicers. Those Amish guys can light one up with the best of them. It just lacks the pizzazz of the better tracks. But I do give them an A for trying. Just wait until SCM gets out there. He’ll get that place shut down.

Do you need a passing lane on a big track?

I agree.  But there are cheats at every track.  I hope Erv gets a big kick in the ass from karma this meet and loses his ass!  I wish Luc and Doug would move to someone else.  I wish them luck, just don't care for Erv.   He's as shady as they come!  Tyler George clearly has some type of edge, but way more likeable!  And better results, give him a shot guys!

Tyler has a great supporting staff, nice horses, and he has Cassie!!  She reminds me of Kay Willis, RIP!!  She is the General!!  I remember when Kay used to come to the barn, everybody knew who the boss was!!

Hoosier is far more engaged toward enforcement and catchin' cheaters than Ohio.  At the least, they demand that those in question stable under the watchful eye of the track.  At Ohio, they are in denial or ignorance and refuse even a detention to at least give an impression of enforcement.

I hope TG has a great season, especially after Hoosier unjustly put him through the ringer last season. People who criticize his win % don't consider the pure quality of horses in his barn. Has a bunch of tough aged gelding pacers who just win races, simple as that. You see a lot of his horses go elsewhere and have success too, unlike a lot of other successful trainers.

I give them credit for being proactive about catching cheaters. But their decisions last season were laughable - to focus 100% of resources on TG and refuse to investigate Erv, who then goes and gets caught somewhere else... HA!

The pylons cure the safety issue!  If you get into road trouble on a big track, accept your fate as a driver/trainer/owner/bettor.  Part of the game.

the real strategists in Ohio like Brett Miller, Chris Page, Trace Tetrick and Danny Noble use a lightening lane to their advantage.

So did Jason Bartlett at Yonkers and quite a few other drivers in North America on tracks with passing lanes!  If you have the passing lane at hoosier, why not at mohawk and the meadowlands??

And that also means his touting groom will be back on here spewing about the track kitchen not extending her credit, and that she's Plano's work wife.   tmbz1
