Yes, it was a Casey Coleman prodigy. These Canadians do a job on our Florida friends. Recently, they bought into the Jimmy Freight fiasco.

West Wins in Florida is Casie. She didn't get involved with the Jimmy Freight ownership change. Lucky for her.

More Winbak junk

please stop him from breeding
not doing the bred any favors

Horse made almost 900k racing. I wish I could have someone do a job on me like that
-
He raced about 40 times last year and as recently as four days ago at Dover. This horse is probably no longer available as a stud.
-
Doesn't anyone see the connection here...if Yogurt Casie is involved then horse has the possibility of being a DUD STUD....when performance is through Growth Hormones,EPOGEN and testosterone then what traits will the stallion pass on to its progeny.....examp le of superstars....Bet terthancheddar,Stag Party, Betting Line and the list goes on.....Look at George Teague 's list of SUPERSTARS.....To tal Truth, Southwind Lynx,Lather Up and yet these sires produce nothing......

Teagues don't have pedigree but Casies do. And you forgot Sportswriter and American Ideal.

Demarvalous and Badland's Nitro

Sportswriter is not very good, but not a complete failure like the rest of them. American Ideal was a very good stallion, bucked the trend for sure.
Interested to see how Mcwicked turns out but based on her past stallions... hes got an uphill battle. I think him racing for so long actually might help as he's more proven as a racehorse than her flash in the pan 2 yr olds that never came back at 3.
-
Betting Line is no super Sire either! He was smack dab in the middle of Yogurt Gate.
-
those are the worst sire stats ive ever seen

78 foals....none of them made it to 30k?? thats almost impossible
-
Proposal...castra te the horse

Thats from 2 or 3 crops. Only one that has raced. Definately not good. But not as bad as it looks.
-
Betterthancheddar also.
-
sportswriter a decent ontario sire in his day
american ideal a standout stud and broodmare sire even though handicapped being in new york
both were early gassie coleman days so might have avoided some of the "additives"

Casie didn't pick American Ideal as a baby and I could be wrong but I don't think she broke and trained at two?

You are correct.
-
Horse was never good enough to be a sire. Nice little race horse though. Might as well race him. tmbz1
-
Not on the big stage, no. He won only 1 start as a 3 year old.

One win as a 3 year old !!! Standing stud ???? There are some $20,000 claimers I would sooner breed too. Was there a shortage of yogurt??
-
Betting Line last year averaged $15,352 at the sales
pretty low!
-
He was so so lame in his three year old season that a caring trainer would not have started him. But race he did and went fast. I'd be reluctant to write him off. He had a lot of foot, a fashionable pedigree and a ton of resolve.
He's not junk and he deserves a little compassion even if you chose to take your mares elsewhere.

Who else would you recommend for breeding advice? I want to know so I can eliminate them off my list. ngc3 ngc3 ngc3 ngc3 ngc3

cassie did not train american ideal at 2 but she was trainer for his entire 3 yr old season which is when he made his mark
-
You are correct.
Yes, Jim Martin had the horse at 2 (at Stampede) and he was blazing fast then. Raced lightly and then over the winter Cassie took over. At the time American Ideal was the fastest 3yo of all time.. buzzed off miles of 1:47.4 and 1:48.1 at 3. Top racehorse and, as noted by others a top racehorse and broodmare sire. Money stats as a sire are a bit inflated due to NY Sire Stakes, where he was one of only a handful of top names for almost a decade.
