Title: Merriman at Northfield and
Post by: GypsyDancer1 on February 07, 2024, 06:15:42 AM: Wonder why Merriman drove in the first five races at Northfield Tuesday night and then his mounts were scratched in all but 2 of the remaining races?

No top trainer will use him because he has no finesse or talent to work out a trip. He ruined Ian Moores 2yo old in Ohio this yr piking him every start. By the time he raced in the Metro he was uncontrollable and probably won't be worth a shit this yr. Very very nice colt though.

You obviously don’t know Ian. Put them on the front if they can’t win it is the trainers fault. His best quote

How many of those races will have been stakes races........ the ultimate workaholic driver who will never advance past the minor leagues. Still 15k is pretty solid on the way to 25k, but will be remembered for almost nothing outside of being a passenger on Bill Rhodes juiced to the gills rocket ships.
