For me its Pocono Downs. Small pools, millionaire owners, drivers, trainers where them betting a 50 perfecta is pocket change, and there are so many good horses (because rich people dont have bad ones) that its tuff to eliminate anything. Stable connections can take 1/3 or 1/2 of pools with their big bets.

I wonder if even one word of this drivel other than small pools is even remotely correct. Where do you come up with this? Millionaire owners trainers and drivers control Pocono's pools which are even smaller than Chester most of the time? ngc3 ngc3 ngc3 And the horses are "so good" because rich people don't have bad horses ... ngc3 ngc3 ngc3.

Its the Senator, creating commentary for BS and fodder.

There's a chance of that. I wouldn't go out on a limb and say so yet but the thought did cross my mind.

I'm done going out on limbs. ngc3

\ You made my point- the pools are small at PCD

Freehold, Vernon, Yonkers
-
Ok, OK, so Erv MIller keeps a couple bad horses to mess around with to screw around with and make a few bets on, I get it, but mostly millionaire owners dont have cheap horses.
-
Don't know what track it is. Don't pay attention. But it would be a track with small pools, short fields, noncompetitive races, and a distortedly high percentage of winning favorites.

Does it matter to you if the Horsemen have a ton of cash and kill the payouts when they hit on a bet which is often there at Pocono ?

pocono
chester and meadows
in that order
incredibly hard to watch let along bet
jmho

meadowlands for sure
M1 is my second worst- too competitive
-
When full card simulcasting 1st was available the only t5/8ths tracks worth betting were: Sportsmans, Greenwood, Mohawk, and in the winter Los Alamitos. The others had weak pools. A couple of the Michigan tracks were ok and better than the Pennsylvania ones.
Pocono
Harrah's Philly
Meadows
All tough to make a decent score
-
Any track where your 4/5 becomes 1/5 or 1/9 when the race goes off. See it a lot at Northfield and Miami Valley. I think it's mostly stable connections (including owners) who know their horse is going ready to win.
-
Meadowlands.
Any track that classifies races by mixing conditions and Track Master ratings.
-
YONKERS. Have not placed a bet there in 10 years.
-
Out east Chester and Freehold out here Hoosier.
-
Red Mile
Horses jump up out of nowhere to take down Goliaths.
-
I'd say Miami Valley

Great point. The most unformful track ever, insane wakeups and form reversals.

Woodbine - have a difficult time determining early pace.

Only if the horse is owned by an owner of the track or trained by Alagna. He and Antonacci destroy the cheap classes with horses who didn't have a pulse all year. Plus the positives never go anywhere in Lexington.

The positives not going anywhere explain the constant crazy form reversals there- anything goes.

Won’t bet it even watch …
Yonkers
Pocono
Georgian Downs
Plainridge

Mohawk--you have to guess when it's somebody's turn. Socialized drivers (welfare)! The better drivers make very good money while the so-so drivers make good money. Look at the driving age at this track. More older drivers than younger ones!
Hoosier--why is there a passing lane on a big track! Overrated drivers too.
-
Hands down Miami Valley

Hands down Miami Valley
Watch the racing (if you can) at Miami valley, Dayton, and scioto. You leave for position, people give holes and single file at 1/4 pole. Not many early speed duels too! Sit 1/8 to 3/16 mile start racing again to the finish. Also 2separate races going on the start and the finish.
-
sounds like they're all bad!
-
Hoosier
Hawthorne
Cal-Expo
-
It may not be my worst, but I just got home and turned on the last few at Cal Expo and those drivers are some of the most inefficient I've ever seen. I thought Hoosier drivers were oblivious to actual distance traveled and the nuances of trip, but Cal Expo drivers make them look like Brian Sears.

Yea, collusion with drivers for sure, I play NW1, NW2, maiden races there- not as much drugs and can get prices at times.
-
Worst track is Miami Valley, worst parking lot blow job I ever had.
-
Like them or not, agree or disagree, but look at the tracks the sharpest/best handicappers -- and biggest bettors -- play. I think you'll see some common reasons why.
