How many does HT own? How many trainers does he use? How many are with Ronnie? Big problems for ALL the partners, finally HT goes down a peg. Let the law suits begin
-
Why him..He doesn't train. Why not all owners on these horses that tested positive?
-
H.T. has long tentacles that reach both far and wide! I was looking at entries for Northville Downs and he had one in with Becky Zubkoff down as trainer not to long ago!

All their names and purchases aren't on the list! Prevost is on their also. Didn't see any other big owners unless I overlooked them. Curious as to which trainers they purchased for. I'm sure it's all just a misunderstanding. It will get worked out and no one will miss a start. Funny on the timing so it wouldn't interupt the Breeder's Crown.
-
Yep, HT was buying it for himself, get real! What was Frank Chick selling it at the shop, or his race horses. Any owner who buys the shit should be suspended, why would you stick up for this kind of shit.
-
Frank Chick buying it for his then "Advisor" now trainer. Kevin Lare. Gotta love it.

Who is sticking up for them? I think all comments point towards finally being happy there is proof of wrong doing with some of the bigger names in the game. I can't wait to see what happens next. The nice guy acts can only go so far. When will horsemen get tired of getting cheated?

Relax Karen. There will be plenty more (trainers) to keep the train (drug) moving!

If 10-15 more trainers end up in prison, that train you speak of is going to be derailed. Most horsemen are pussies and I don't think they will take that chance.

I won't say. I don't want to be sued. But.....

Commissions in all states should suspend all the parties, "for the best interests of the industry" Follow the lead of The Big M. How many on the list have had multiple positives? Again what is the rationale for purchasing these products other than to CHEAT?

I don't know how they can only catch 4 people for Ethamsylate. That shit is being used EVERYWHERE and on almost EVERY horse.

HT IS A GOOD GUY
HES NOT THE TRAINER
-
Never said he wasn't a good guy and I know he's not a trainer. Why was he buying from Fishman.
-
Howard claims a trainer bought it and had him billed for it. His secretary didn’t know it was illegal substance when she paid the invoice. End of story

I’m just telling you what his statement will be. If they have a record of him ordering it. Then that’s great he will be gone.

That may fly with the commissions but not with Gural and hopefully with other track owners.

What other track owner has ever even tried having any kind of integrity rules?
-
I look for the Meadowlands to retract that release. Just like a few others they did in the past.

are the feds gonna take all of ht money?
-
Howard is finished. I hope he tries to sue Gural. He won’t because that’s legal suicide and Howard knows it. If he sues he has to PROVE he didn’t buy and open all his records. He can’t claim attorney privilege. All his phone records, bills, and credit card and bank statements. ALL of them. You think Howard wants to reveal all his hidden ownerships in PA where he’s stealing the PA bonus money? You think he wants phone records to Fishman then right after a trainer? How’s it gonna look when he collecting money from people he doesn’t own with or have horses trained by? No Howard is gonna have to sit back and take it now. NJ will suspend his license and he won’t have anyone to sue. Then each and every state will reciprocate and it’s bye bye Howard.
-

if he fights yes! His best plan is to sell everything off and exit stage right and pray it doesn’t go any further. He fights and he will take down 100 people and bury himself even worse. Tax evasion and fraud will be so easy to prove once his books are opened.
-
HT not going to lay down like you all think..You'll see this will all go away! Racing commissions will not do anything without due process as well as USTA. Just because the feds say so they still have to prove guilt. jmo

Everyone who was indicted never saw any due process. They were indicted on Monday and by Wednesday every state had revoked their licenses and so did the USTA. Not one person has pled guilty nor did they have any plea agreements. There doesn't have to be any due process in the racing world. Where have you been in the last 30yrs? Do you know how many trainers have taken things to the supreme court to be laughed at and thrown out because the civil system has no jurisdiction over horse racing and due process is thrown out the window.

I'm not sure so don't get on me but I read a while back in a forum type presentation that Howard Taylor, a Philadelphia Attorney, had approx. 125 standards racing or in training. I have some sort of idea of what it costs for racing and training. I'm asking, isn't it somewhere around 3-3500 hundred a month. Of course there are more than likely barter deals in there for attorney work. That aside, $3,500. per month X 125 horses comes $437.500. Thats assuming $3,500 per or thereabouts. Bets are variable and cannot be included. Well I hear he is quite an attorney.

Whatever you been smoking, you should probably stop.

Let's see where this goes when the press gets ahold of it. How many purchases were there and for how long. Only once? I doubt it! If there's more than one invoice, it's over, time for a new story. If he's Guilty, no lawsuit, why take the chances. So far only Big M. If he's Innocent, big lawsuit, defamation etc. We will see how big his balls are.

I dont recall seeing him as the only owner on any good horses.
Always seems to have partners.
-
Most of his horses are owned in partnership. The ones he owns himself are usually trained by someone he defended to pay off the bill
-
That's seems like an interesting idea, looks pretty true too me.

Jesus H Christ how stupid can you be..
So, you're saying the feds knocked on their door and took them straight to jail? OMFG! No court process? Whoa!

You are correct there so maybe my calculations are possibly off, however cut them in half and its still a tidy sum.

His 30% of 1 slip and fall case easily pays the bills

I definitely concur. I believe that has been moved to 40%. There have been many discussions pertaining to HT but mostly in private.

Ms Crawford gave him a shout out during her interview at The Meadowlands
