Who is this driver and why does he still have a license to compete? In today’s edition of USTA fines and suspensions we have someone who should be hooked up to a sulky and let the horse whip him continuously.Chec k out his violation under Whipping Violations. Incredibly he whipped his horse throughout the race and continued when he was out of contention. Yes he was fined $1,000 and given a 15 day suspension but for me it is not enough.

I wonder why harness racing can't attract fans. I mean, this is exactly what people are looking for.

He probably needs his 5% back to pay that big fine first and have money to get to The Meadowlands!

Parker is the son of Jeremy Smith,a regular catch driver on the Southern Ohio circuit. Parker was a regular warm-up guy prior to pursuing his driver-trainer certification.I'm kinda surprised that Parker has had somewhat of a bumpy road getting started on his own. I always thought that he would be OK. You never know what goes on in somebody's life when they shut the lights off after the races are over!
