Race 9
Anyone have an idea on the sale price of #3 that went from Burke to Greg Luther stable ? Looked up on gait.com but not on there.
Curious as to what a 3yo of this ability goes for.

I'm going out on a limb here and saying there is 25% chance Confederate is scratched and if he races there is 100% certainty he is blocked from his knee down. He's got a bad wheel that they have been working on all week long!

Very nice card today. Id play and watch if it wasnt up against the nfl.I am making bets on one race (9th). I like t alexanders 6 please let me know to win for $50 and a $10 ex bx on 8 natemari with the 6. A little worried about the driver change on the 8 though going from smith to sears. ngc3
Good luck and enjoy the card.

M M's Dream looked close to awful there.

Congrats chalk lovers; it took exactly 1 race for Purple Jesus to anally glaze you on Red Mile closing day Sunday. 11.wp 11.wp 11.wp
McCarthy was laying straight back in the bike and no one got to his wheel disc the entire mile. 32/1 in a 5 horse field. Smh...

Is this streaming anywhere if you don't have a wagering account? YouTube? Facebook? Link?
rtn $110 a year get every harness track
can't beat it if you live in a state where wagering is not legal

It’s a little hard to hide something like that for this long. Unless this is from just his time at the red mile.

It's something that just happened.

It costs nothing to set up an account on Twin Spires.

Did you see how both knees were shaved to the skin? They have been working on him night and day all week long. He had the miracle juice in him today.

The cut on his knee was pretty insignificant

Brett too smart for that

Certainly, the 3yo trotters are not exactly the greatest crop this year
Tactical Approach came from a long way back but just a MEH crop IMO

Pretty weak crop.
-
1.) Agree that the 3yo trotting crop is not the best; however the 3yo pacing group is very solid and 5+ deep with 1 top colt.
2.) Observations on today:
a.) Too many 1/9 shots; and one on a trotter no less (who lost)
b.) Race 1: MM's Dream looked like her feet were stinging her down the stretch
c.) Race 10: What was Svanstedt thinking with his drive on Bond?? That kind of drive was appropriate for a low purse "tune up" race.
d.) Race 13: Confederate was really impressive. Definitely ranks within the "inner circle" of 3 year old colts over the past 50 years. IMS looked like he just didn't fire .. the kind of race where he might scope with some sickness.
e.) Race 15: Agree that the winner is the best of this year's 3yo crop, but, overall not an impressive grouping.

Catching French Wine is like catching your Grandmother in a foot race

Confederate was a beast...again!
Alrajah One is another who impressed me.
Sylvia Hanover won easily.
It's Academic & It's My Show didn't fire.
Seven Colors stopped & probably needed lasix.
I didn't like Miller's drive on Ken Hanover.
Zeron continues to impress in big races.

Any word on how this knee laceration happened? I would think DC would have a 24hr. guard stationed outside his stall.
