Locked and Loaded would be the understatement of the year with regards to last night! We see horses finish under a tight hold with the plugs in. Not very often do you see it accompanied with the slinging head or seesaw! Was it karma from the Jug misbehavior? 73cv.2

Please correct me if I am wrong but if memory serves me Moore has not had an Ohio bred before but in 2022 he makes the trek to a sale, buys a horse from a B-, C sire for only $24K and makes $400K so far with more to come. Is Moore that lucky or that good or maybe something else??

Does seem strange, but there is a connection there. Panderosas greatest foal is Shadow Play, the Dr. Moore phenom. My bet is that Ian Moore is that good. The guys had a lot of success.

Silvan gets himself in these jams more often than other Mohawk regulars. Trapped along the pylons with a ton of horse and nowhere to go. Hate seeing his name on one that I want to bet.

Panderosa has been standing stud, what 20 years, and now all of a sudden Moore decides to buy one...strange to me

i am no fan of jody
most nights ay mohawk he is god awful
however lets give credit where due, he drove that colt perfectly last night and deserved to win
and last year with stockade in same race he slides inside yannick just past the half to win

Brian Brown told Doc he should come look at Cody. He was just Docs type of horse

Panderosa if i recall correctly has sired the winners of over $100 million so he's the real deal even if he's not in favor anymore like many successful studs. Doubtful he has been bred to very many quality mares in the last ten years at least. I'm sure someone gave Doc a heads up on this one. Actually, i believe theirs another pretty nice 2yr old racing this year by Panderosa.

Yep. The Panderosa was and is a decent sire and not that it's particularly relevant here, but also a very good broodmare sire.

Not strange at all considering Panderosa was the Sire of Shadow Play who did quite well for Mr.Moore! tmbz1 tmbz1

I will repeat...after 20 years Moore decides he needs a Panderosa??????????

I also think the Shadow Play connection played a part. I was at the sale and Dr. Moore was not there. CC was the 14th horse in the book and was purchased through Brian Brown. I past over him and purchased a seaside with my partner.

A lot of trainers , including Ray Remmen as quoted in a video, passed over SBSW for 30k. I have asked myself the same question, why if your Dr. M are you buying a Pandarosa.

Why not, he was a very good stallion and there is great value there. Dr. Moore has bought several Pandarosa colts since Shadow Play. This is nothing new.

Look at Docs yearling purchases over the last 15 years. He very rarely goes with the hot sire. He has a certain body Type he is looking for. these days the vast majority of sites can throw the speed needed to be a stakes horse. Sweet Lou is a great example. He has thrown a few nice horses. But there is a reason only 53 foals were registered this year. And now comes Confederate

Jody Jamieson....terri ble?
You must be putting me on.
He is closing in on $150 Million in purses...and just won
the Metro 2023 AND 2022..
Yeah..I agree ....lousy driver.
On Saturday nite ...he outdrove Dexter Dunn, Macdonald, Filion,
David Miller, McNair, and the Scott Zeron..in a $1 Million Race
taking a 2 yr old from the 7 post to a 1:49:3 mark..
that is the new seasons leader 2 yr old in all of North America.
Not sure why they post these absurd posts...

Because he screwed up his bet, lol, and for that it makes him a lousy driver. The Mohawk colony is about as good as a driving colony as anywhere in my opinion.
