CC's horse flinched at something, couldn't tell exactly from what. Thought it was odd that they didn't speak during the run out.

Could have been something as petty as a bit of kickback. You can usually tell if it was a whip to the wrong spot because the driver will be sure to pull up along side and say something to the offender!

Senior Judges Report
Race 1: Reviewed racing in deep stretch when #2 Northern Charlotte (C.Christoforou),
finished 4th, put in a couple steps. The horse’s nose touched the helmet B.McClure who
was directly in front of #2 Northern Charlotte.

It's obvious that McClure did something to make his horses tail shoot up into the air. I'm guessing he may have got the whip between the legs. Chris' horse shied from the dark object that flagged up in front of his face and put steps in. Not sure what a judge can do about that.

I haven’t watched the race but if CC horse was close enough to shy from the tail of horse in front of him he should be fined for reckless driving

You would have to watch the race. The horse definately shied from the front horses tail which abruptly went rather high into the air. If i recall correctly, he had a shadow roll on. He was not too close to McClure.

Just watched the filly in front was flagging her tail the whole stretch. You watch in slow motion you can clearly see what the judges saw. CC drove his horse right into BM helmet

I use to play Mohawk nightly. The judges were incompetent in my opinion. I sent an email asking why they could not find three competent judges in all of Canada. There was no reply...as expected. ngc3 ngc3 ngc3

That lane 'check' cost many a tasty exactor.
