Cannibal dawdled, but cmon Timmy, wtf?
-
Linda won the jugette & the jug, what a week for her.
Wow!
-
Tetrick did exactly what he should have done.

Tetrick did exactly what he should have done.
What's the logic in that?
-
You go for the win, you control the race. If Gingras had his horse in gear he probably lets him go, Gingras was the problem there not Tetrick.
-
Tetrick is one of the best around. I think he knew what he was doing but thats horse racing.

He went in 25.4 -- (Gingras didn't have his horse in gear?) You can still win from the pocket. This way he didn't even hit the board.
-
10 claimers go 25.4 these days to the opening quarter, it's the Jug, you go all out. That was on Gingras

Not on a half they don't. And a second heat -- no way. I think Tetrick is one of the best, but this was a bad decision all around -- evident by the fact that he didn't even hit the board. I could see him pulling it off if the rest of the field was noncompetitive, but you got IMS, Seven Colors, Ken waiting to pounce.

Believe it or not it does all come down to the Breeders Crown...a win for Its My Show there and he is the 3yo of the year

TT drove exactly how he had to. Turn YG and he’s in the dead man’s seat. YG’ s not going to drive off and give TT a chance to beat him if TT cuts him lose.YG over played his hand as well, thinking TT was going to turn him just because it was a Diamond Creek horse YG was driving. Be welling to bet YG will be crying to Adam Bowden trying to get TT fired. Thank goodness Pelling will tell him to pound salt. YG know for such moves

I am not going to perpetuate this debate. everyone on here knows how I feel and where my loyalties lie. If, as someone suggested , Timmy did what he was supposed to, his philosophy it turns out was majorly flawed. So he takes a horse he never drove before and zooms DTR in the elim for 50k to a JUG record. An hour later he bounces the wrong way and caves after a ridiculous quarter and half unnecessarily parking Cannibal who just happens to be owned by the Confederate group. Yes , Cannibal was dull off the gate initially but Timmy knows his horse is all wound up and Cannibal will now race him and himself into submission while seven Colors and Dunn and IMS and Scotty are sitting there salivating. so, if he did what he was "supposed" to, would he do it again? I think not. Scotty is definitely Driver of the year and Linda Trashcano has the best 48 hours of her life, AFTER being elected to the HOF several years ago.
Ironic. That's all from Fuguzzi. Pretty fun day overall. Popeyes chicken and red beans and rice. Ah, that feels better! 73cv.2

BOINIC ON A MISSION DONT GIVE UP THE LEAD AT ALL COSTS
PERIOD
-
Would YG do it again, finished last home in 30. Not a debate YG over played his hand thinking TT going to Chuck him loose. Bad move YG
-
If that was Tetricks mission and intention then he is nowhere as good as people make him out to be. The horse did not seem uncontrollable, the smart thing to do sit the pocket to the best speed horse in the race. The race was for 3/4 of a million and the field was stellar. He should have known better.
He acted like a fish poker player bluffing every street trying to win a hand when it was obvious he was going to be beat with that strategy.
-
What was YG mission, to run down TT. Half mile track shortest half stretch in NA and no passing lane, that’s what I would guess was going through TT mind. He did have a horse that figured , he did win his heat. Bottom line is Nancy & YG were banking on the Confederate connection. News Flash TT wasn’t driving a Diamond Creek horse.
Not to mention that TT’s went 26 flat 54 out of the 5 hole in the firs heat.

Tetricks horse won the weakest Elim field in 1:50..he knew that horse had no shot so he did the only thing he could do and that was gut someone else's horse and of course Yannick and his ego was the perfect choice...I've never seen a top driver as much as Yannick destroy his horses chances by the first quarter because the only thing he knows is gun right to the front..if he sits he could have probably brushed Timmy to the half....say what you want about Yannick but after Sweet Lou ive always thought he was overrated...he was the only guy that couldn't win with Lou...Palone won the BC with Lou and Pierce took him on 1 of the better FFA runs in history against a monster group Gingras could barely win with him because the only thing he knew was go to the front at all costs...I would bet everything I have that there about 10-15 guys not on the grand circuit that can put up Gingras numbers with the same drives. He knew Timmy wouldn't let him go and still just destroys his horse.

Correct! You are racing the Jug at Delaware for a lot of money! Add to the fact 'soup bowl' turns, short stretch and no 'passing lane', it is more imperative to dictate the race and take your chances on whatever happens. Closers at Delaware are generally at a disadvantage, but not in this Jug. Shit happens and life goes on for everyone involved!

(https://ustrottingnews.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/its-my-show-head-shotJug.jpg)Never mind. What about the SIZE of Toscano now?! That is NOT a healthy look! She could hardly walk in the winner's circle! Toscano looked liked she’s now over 300 lbs, has a groin pull and two bad knees. Waddling into the winners circle was a great look for her horse but a scary one for her health. I hope she does something soon to improve her health because she won’t be enjoying too many more years like 2023 if she doesn’t.

Exactly. Key words -- "smart thing to do" I'm sure the owners of Moment were not too pleased.
-
If he is such a speed horse then why the 29 flat middle 1/4 in the first heat. Tim had a horse that fit and he was to the left of Yannick. It’s the jug no one remember s who was second. Again Yannick should have back off not over played the am driving a Diamond Creek horse and Timmy drives Confederate so he has to let me go.

His discipline will be conducted on the down low ,if the situation warrants it. The crUStA has done too much positive press on him to take a pie in the face!
