4 tracks going this afternoon and I will be playing.
I may post some "Flash" last minute bets I really like. May not. Not sure yet BUT.
In Monti Race 1 if the exacta box of 45 does not come in they need to cuff Aldrich or Sowers or both and take them off the track.

TAKE THE MONEY ALL DAY

Wasn't easy though. Still 8-5 was a decent payoff. Sowers looks to be taking no prisoners on his return, especially with Saratoga shippers.

In race 2 at Monti I am alive in the dds ( not posting horizonals today) with 2 and 6.
Troy Rossi on the 1 seemed to have come out of retirement and is basically another from the "Merton" crew so things get complicated. But I don't think he has won a race in decades. Will they "boot " him home here? Board says Yes, Bello says No.

Freehold Race 1
7 is dead in the win pool but not in certain exacta pools. Betting a little to win at big balloon on the "dirtied up" theory.

OMG Troy Rossi - not scraping the bottom of the barrel, reaching under it now

And he is why I got $14 and change on a 4-5 and 9-5 DD. Troy was favorite in the DD

Aqueduct double 1 / 45 meet starts off with a 2.5 mile steeplechase.

Good Luck Dink...Ever see the movie Lay The Favorite? Dink in that movie played by Bruce Willis was one of my best friends growing up.
Race 3 Monti
Live with 1 2 in the P3 Board is fascinating though.
2 opened first flash with 1 k win on this nose. Let's see if the $$$$ stays there since the p3 with the 1 is $20 and the 2 is $40
-
In Race 3 at Monti the 1 wound up 1-2 as he got a 1k pop going to the gate.
Both 1 and 2 both lost as the 5 was pocket rocket. Victoria Stratton driving the 1 was not able to control the horse on the turns

Worth noting that Hunter Oakes may be juiceless today at Harrahs Philadelphia
Off the board in races 1 and 2 at Harrahs Philadelphia. WAS 2-5 IN EACH RACE.
Don't you love what the juicers have done to the game. Where is the Sarge when we need him to call the judges!
-
Freehold Race 5
I am counting on the 1 to be compromised by both the rail and the tight turns. He will be a huge favorite. Same goes for the 2.
Betting #3 Sure footed and positive trainer change. And value.

Monti Race 8
Need #4 for p3
and since I expect to hit this one
Race 9 I will need the #6 to continue p3 roll who appears lockish
Use #1 and #2 underneath

Hunter Oakes dead last at 2-1 in race 7....They either raided his barn or he did not pay for the wheaties today. Next race he is in is the 10th ah hsrrahs PH.
I need to leave so final spot play of the day would be
Race 9 Harrahs box 12
Race 10 Harrahs PH
2 win p4 2/68/3/18
Harrahs Phil race

Made it back early as swimming rained out.
So in race 12 at the meadows let's put the dirty up theory to the test. Two horses fit the profile
7 and 4 in that order 7 win box 47 dd 47/46

Harrahs Race 13
8 Major league class relief
1 Minor league class relief
Tis the season for classier horses to be jammed into NW xx LT races

Marvin Maker? What became of him?

Don't know. I used the analogy because MM made a few excursions to Monti. He earned the name "Mr Sixpack" by the Monti faithful. Allegedely MM would stiff a horse for a sis pack of beer.
He showed up last time from NJ around the same time as Steve Oliwa and the inmates ran the asylum for awhile.
MM would get parked the mile controlling the race from the outside blocking inside horses purposely and speeding up when he needed to while causing havoc to the outside flow.
Mr. Pelling seems astute at the same strategy. Leaving with no shot horses and burying key horses inside of him. I have commented on that in the past. It continues to happen.
