When he gets time in between races he is probably the best in the country.  Hopefully they give him another break and then race the final in Ky so he can destroy them.

He has to prove to me he can stare down Confederate when the two of them go eye to eye for 3/8ths of a mile. Btw, Confederate can easily go 46.4 at the red mile. Prolly 46 flat. We have not seen his bottom yet and we saw IMS go sideways at the Meadows.

If not for a 2 step defeat to It's My Show, where Confederate was airborne deepstretch from a virtually impossible spot, we wouldn't be hearing from the IMS people had all. Anyone who says IMS has been better than Confederate since the NA Cup very narrow victory is delusional or part of the Toscano fan club. I dont care if It's My Show paces 45 flat tomorrow, Confederate is still the best pacer in the world.

Last 1/4 of the race was the slowest and he wasn't involved in the faster 3/4 so unleashed would not be the proper description more like tripped out IMO.

I didn't see it yet, but i value your opinion. The Linda/IMS crew will tell you its raining as they pee on your leg   TY thorn!

Confederate has tripped out every race!  He can't leave the gate a pound.  I think at Lexington it will be who ever has the better trip.  You put IMS on his back and IMS beats him.  Vice versa if Confederate stalks he wins.  The real question is what happens when Seven Colors gets in the mix?

Sometimes from some of your posts I get the impression you discovered harness racing in 2023, thus your name. Top of the stretch, eye to eye, Confederate will beat IMS every time. Different creature last 1/16th.

Your mind is made up.. we won’t confuse you with facts.

Hit me with all the facts you lie, but from what I have witnessed, in my opinion, day in and day out, Confederate is a better racehorse than It's My Show. In fact, Redwood Hanover and Seven Colors have impressed me just as much as IMS. That's why it is horse racing.

Put them eye to eye at the head of the stretch off a 28 quarter and confederate gets dusted.  Now get them coming at 26 and drop the hammer and it's probably too close to call.  Confederate has no quick turn of foot.  He gets out and rolls up either 1st or 2nd over and gets in gear.  Put on a show can go from a 30 second quarter to a 25.2 quarter in a step.  Anyone who has seen them both train would tell you the same.  All depends on the circumstances.... .

Could we see a sub. 45 ????

In order to do that , a horse would have to be propelled of three quarters in 1.18, assuming 27 seconds or faster last quarter

Confederate did follow IMS on the cup and did not go by him.

Are u serious? Confederate was airborne deepstretch closing from an impossible spot with no flow of cover and missed by two steps after IMS cruised along on the lead. Tetrick even said he fucked up. Since then Confederate has been absolutely overwhelming and in a different galaxy than every other 3 year old.

I wanna see what happens when Confederate the stallion with tremendous heart, speed and determination comes alongside IMS, looks him in the eye and switches gears. IMS will melt like he did in the Adios.

It's My Show took the lead just past the 1/4 and Confederate was sitting 6th on the rail and ended up 3rd over so in no way did he follow that horse.

TYVM my friend, Thorn   That's why I was like "are you serious"? Confederate has a chance to be an all time great .  IMS does not.

Spot on!  Confederate is head and shoulders above the 3yo class right now.

Remember Steady Star pacing in 52, awesome mile, now we're talking 45. Should be great great seeing IMS & Confederate go at it, I think Confederate has a bigger heart, TT knows he fucked up. Colt doesn't like to get beat.

Agreed. There is an almost human look of understanding and determination on his face as if he totally knows what his job is and loves it. Reminds me of Matt's Scooter and Artsplace morphed into one horse.

cant argue with that!   Small point in review of the Meadowlands Pace. Confederate is on the gate does indeed push off just enough "leaving" to loop Voukefelas and settle into the four hole mid turn.

Looping Vukafellas is no great accomplishment considering he was dead lame and on the line so bad Jordan couldn't drive him in the turns.  When he snaps off the wings and is in front at the 1/8th pole against a good field then maybe I'll change my tune but until then he has zero gate speed.

And the fastest pacer in the world last half a mile. Confederate is a racehorse, It's My Show is not. Not sure you understand the difference. I do NOT mean that to sound insulting. Like Cam Fella vs It's Fritz. Cam Fella was a racehorse, It's Fritz was not.
