Varenne's finale -----

Montreal's Blue Bonnets Raceway all time racecaller Jean Desautels, and his 58,000 races in 30 years, delivered a classic call for a classic race.
The 2002 World Trot.

The greatest trotter of them all, Varenne was wrapping the career (73 starts - 62 wins 6 places 2 shows) Sept 28, 2002.
Varenne going off at 1-5
Jack Moiseyev's second choice Fool's Goal was right there with others not far away.

Wonder if Hippodrome de Montreal Blue Bonnets had laaix program at that time?

No doubt he stalked the great Varenne for most of it.
