Title: HOOSIER GOING TO CANCEL TONIGHT? TOO MUCH SMOKE
Post by: LAW AND ORDER on June 28, 2023, 02:23:43 PM: RIGHT NOW ITS UP IN THE AIR (LITERALLY)! SHELBYVILLE TBREDS CANCELLED SO MY GUESS IS WE ARENT RACING TONIGHT. THE AIR QUALITY IS PRETTY BAD RIGHT NOW. MAYBE THE WHOLE COUNTRY OF CANADA WILL BURN DOWN ONCE AND FOR ALL.

Please see the following update on behalf of Harrah's Hoosier Park for the status of the racing program for June 29, 2023.
The racing program for Thursday, June 29th at Harrah's Hoosier Park will take place as scheduled. At this time, the risk from unhealthy air quality levels is currently declining and the forecast indicates it should continue to diminish throughout the day. The Harrah's Hoosier Park team and the ISA will continue to monitor the levels in Anderson, IN to ensure the safety of our racing participants. If the air quality remains below 200 as predicted, racing will not be impacted. You may find the current air quality level by visiting www.airnow.gov or downloading the Air Now app.

THEY WERE PISSED OFF THAT WE RACED QUALIFIERS YESTERDAY MORNING AND THEN RICK MOORE FOLLOWS WHAT THE OTHER TRACKS SAY AND CANCELS. BUT YOU CAN BET YOUR ASS WE'RE RACING TONIGHT SO I'LL SEE YOU GUYS IN THE PADDOCK LATER.
