In 2022, Dunn won over $15 million in purses. With 6 months already gone in 2023, he has earned UNDER $2 million in purses so far! Why the tremendous fall off?

I hope he wins not a dollar more! Race fixing slime from Australia should be sent back there and be incarcerated
-
He makes most of his money in stakes. That season has barely started. He may not win as much as last year but it will still be huge.
-
And he will still be slime
-
Actually born and raised in New Zealand. Does that still count?
-
I know but he drove in Australia, where his home was raided and where he fixed many, many races
-
Yeah they took a computer and never arrested him although 10 others were arrested. I really don't care what he did or didn't do there but out of curiosity ... you were an insider at tracks for years and years.. What do you think is the % of drivers who are willing to fix races or just stiff a horse once in a while? Back in my growing up days at YR and RR mostly all the bigshots got busted.
-
I know, i hear you and I get what you are saying and yes i saw it all. Just cant stand him, his pasted on Biden smile/smirk. Just reeks of slimeball to me.
-
Slimeball or not, he has absolutely dominated the summer grand circuit stakes season over the past three years and expect nothing different over the next three to four months. Will go from two million to ten million in the blink of an eye.
-
Slime balls are people who put down others and has no idea what they are talking about like most on this site.

No matter what you say he is a great driver. He is no worse than any of the drivers that are in the hall of fame. You can start naming drivers but if you been around this business for over sixty years you know most of the drivers that made their fortunes and the ones that lost it by taking it out of the betting windows.

My whole point was I wish he stayed down under and pulled his shit down there.

No doubt he cashes big time in big money. At the same time I think his career UDRS is .285 Rather paradoxical

His drive of Treacherous Dragon in the 7th tonight at the Meadowlands made it look like he didn’t know how to drive on a mile track.

imho
timmy t is schooling him this yr
ake embarresed him last night with joggy jog
-
Doesn't look like the same driver as last yr, hope he gets back on track he was fun to watch. 11.wp

All the drivers are only as good as the power they are sitting behind. He will get all the power in the big races and have a big season. He is no different than Tetrick, Gingras, Todd McCarthy or Dave Miller. Whichever driver has the power wins the race.
-
I am not sure that not having enough power led to that debacle.

There is something wrong with him this year that might go beyond racing? He should get a lot of weeks suspension for that horrific move that could have resulted in tragedy!

I posted a comment about Dexter, a few weeks ago, and I got roasted!! It was about the undefeated 2 YO Rollin Rosie!! They brought him in, on ISS Super night and put him on her! Jordan Ross had driven her superbly and won 4 or 5 in a row, Trace was committed to Erv at the time, and Jordan was winning without breaking a sweat! I know there is no comparison in skill. However, On a cold and windy night, from the 8 hole Dexter parks the horse to a scorching 53.4!! She, needless to say, came up empty in the stretch!! A normal decent drive and she jogs!! I thought that drive was very poor for that important of a race!! The problem with these big time drivers, that really aren't familiar with a horse, is they think every horse they steer is push button and can drive any way they want, and still win!! A little more patience is what is needed with old Dex!!

DD looked on his game yesterday when the pressure was on.
Pretty cool customer sitting in the bucket.

Yeap made about $25k driving yesterday

What constitutes the leading driver? Obviously money won, since the game is about CASH and CASH only. Dunn the leading money won driver by far when adding 2020,2021 and 2022 together. Off to a "slow" start in 2023 he is a million behind Tetrick and 2 million behind Gingras thus far.
Bottom line....he will reel both of them in over the second half of 2023 and be the money leader again this year. Completely schooled Tetrick off the gate in the Graduate last night and hung him to dry.

He's among the best when money is down
