Don’t know if Frank had his pilots license or not. But he said they hit a thunderstorm and Frank flew the plane upside for a few seconds until he straightened it out. Don’t know if Frank had his license or not. And I don’t know if this is bullshit or not. Lol

Late 80's Maywood Park Qualifiying morning. I am in the paddock, when I see and hear most everyone scurry up to the track. I go up to see whats up. I ask the guy at the fence whats all the commotion about. He says "OMara has his good two year old in this one". That was the start of his undefeated season.
