Good advice. I'd also stay away from any horse that just improved 5 seconds off his last start after a recent claim.

It’s amazing how Burke and Erv Miller can keep track of all of their horses. Both do a good job but I have to think you can help a horse that is in the middle of their barn that gets overlooked.

Totally agree. Smaller stables can often excel with a horse exactly as you describe.
