Bonnie Rush in her prime was a very good trainer/driver had a UDR of mid 500's when that was impressive. As a trainer and driver she drove medicare horses against some of the best t/d's in the business. The poor woman got Altzimers and is now in a nursing home.

At Planridge, you have a lady who has been getting it done year after year. Elisha Lafreniere even shoes her horses. Second leading trainer batting .345.

She was just average at Monticello for many years until Larry Stalbaum helped her out. I guess he taught her well.

Let me know Guinea after you check the USTA records from 1998-2005. She was top trainer and Dana spent more money then you will ever have in your life.

She couldn't train SCM to beg for money! She was a sham and a thief!

Where do you get your information from? Robin didn’t steal a quarter. When you have good owners who want the best you don’t have to scam. We hired the best grooms and second trainers that money could buy. We had the best bred year, inns money could buy. Best operation in Chicago for 5-10 years. You can say what you want buy robin didn’t steal a dime from anyone. Didn’t have to.

MIKE ANT: Your mention of DONNA LEE brought back some memory's.
Years ago there was a poster called VEGAS. He and MS. LEE had some famouse posta attackin each other.
Vegas was either a owner or trainer some many years back and then moved to VEGAS therefore the moniker. He was a NAVY VET who had spent some time in MANILA when he in. He older than me at time and we became friends. He decided to permantly move to PHILLIPEENS on some lower island. We kept in touch thru E-mails. Always told me he never took any MEDS for anythin. I told him that foolish. Anyhow his last E-mail to me was he was headin to the only VA clinic in Phillipines and had to go by boat to get there some 300 miles away. Never heard from him again even though I E-mailed 3 times after that. Where he was livin was a rebel controlled area. Don't know if he were killed by them or succumbed to what he was headed to clinic for. Me sure he DEAD regardless. But those arguments with MS.LEE were famous. Just thought I'D mention DONNA LEE,since no else has.

ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT PORCELLI OR BUDDIG? MAN THAT PORCELLI DOULDNT DRIVE A HOT NAIL INTO A SNOWBANK. HE RUINED A LOT OF GOOD HORSES WITH JUICE AND HIS DRIVING WAS WORSE THEN HIS TRAINING LOUDMOUTH THOUGHT HE KNEW IT ALL WITH JOEY CASSANNOO RIGHT BY HIS SIDE LICKING HIS ASS. BUT DONNA LEE WAS A PRETTY DECENT TRAINER. HER SON PETEY WAS A NICE GUY AND TONY HAS THE TOP YOUNG STABLE EVERY YEAR FOR THE PAST 20 YEARS.

A lot of us miss, Vegas. His name was Jim Cash. He was an owner and a high stakes gambler from NY. The man loved action. Action with the ladies. Action at the casino and action at Roosevelt Raceway. Jim was an owner ,too. He had a horse he bought from Clint Galbraith named , Cash Bonus. He always had good information and was liked by many.
Jim and his good friend, Richie La Cava, a trainer with a good size stable at Roosevelt at the time would charter a plane from Farmingdale LI , and fly to Atlantic City every week.
I would talk via email to Jimmy often. He never said a word about an illness and I never got a chance to say good by.
One thing is for sure Jimmy did it his way.
RIP Jim Cash Bonus.

I to miss him, I’ve been to the Philippines twice and I think of him when I’m there.
