Erv had a very good year and so did Rocco’s horses but they are all beat up from those early miles. That’s why I told you guys that Jays horses are trained to last forever. They aren’t smoked early and on empty in September. And yes beauty n grace looked very sore the other night. She is still a great horse but should probably be turned out. She is tired and earned a rest.

we won a sires division and was second in the other by a head last nightRocco lets be honest here. You and Erv had an amazing year period. BUT I stopped keeping track but since September 1, Erv has had more odds on chalk get beat than any other trainer in the country. Not saying Erv isn’t a good trainer or taking anything away from your horses but go back and check. Look at all of the results since September 1 and I’m telling you his horses aren’t the same. I’m not talking about finishing second or third because a lot of the races are 6-7 horse fields. I’m just talking about odds-on chalks getting beat and looking totally different than they were two months ago. Good trainer and you have nice horses. Enough said Erv does it every year. Horses are burnt up in fall of the year. We cool tho
we were second in 1 sires division on wedsneday lost by a jhalf length and my other filly grace took a bad step around the turn she still a little green around the turn ..and my other filly was sEcond in the A divsion of sires wednesday night last race

Erv had two more big chalks go down tonight. I’m just trying to tell you that year after year Erv has been known to have his horses ready early and then in the fall of the year they go down in a ball of flames as odds on chalks. Again tonight to more big favorites. Erv wins a lot of races because he often has 4-5 horses in the same race. It’s hard to lose when you have half of the field. But even still the fall of the year isn’t Ervs cup of tea.
