Another classless move by Gabe,,,,,if your watching Hoosier you have no life

shame on hoosier
it is thanksgiving for gods sake
But football, both NFL and CFB is okay?
-
i personally do not think it is okay
however those are long standing traditions and all about the all mighty buck and i think those ball players make a little more than the grooms going to hosier on thanksgiving night
you would think hoosier would get the hint when no other track is racing
just seemed uneccesary to me with little upside or benefit

I'm sure the guys selling popcorn, taking tickets, and working security at NFL games would rather be home as well.
And lets not forget it wasn't too long ago that just the Cowboys and the Lions played at home on Thanksgiving.
The NFL saw a chance to grab more cash and exposure so they added a third game.
There are no sacred days in sports or racing. The NBA smashes out 4 games on Christmas day.

There is a major flaw in your logic. Yes, collegiate and professional sports play on holidays. Why, you might ask? The almighty dollar is a major reason. However, they also matter to PEOPLE!! PEOPLE actually will show up to a sporting event on Thanksgiving or Christmas. Who is going to drive to a track to watch cheaters and scum on a holiday? There are millions of people watching sports at home, harness racing.... not so much. SPORTS are what PEOPLE care about. Harness racing needs to be shut down.
