Philosophy on horsemen. There are good, there are bad. Very few are not educated past high school so they see the money and love it. A lot of good street smarts, survival skills and love their jobs.

Ice - if you were in Goulds and TKO'ing Jimmy W, then you two would have been the only two at that track. The handle was $9 YES NINE DOLLARS per race there - think the track record was 2:03 or so.

Thats sayin something! Biden has a fireplace put in the oval office burning logs-thats the only order hes done by himself- he throws one or two in himself to keep it going. He quits by 4 pm and just signs what's put in front of him and reads from the teleprompter then disappears. He doesn't "work" weekends. Hes Obama/far left puppet and rides in the clown show Democrat bus as he hates flying. We're fucked.

I think this is correct.
As crooks at Flamboro go, Jimmy Whalen was a pretty straight shooter and put his livelihood on the line to try to get a better deal for horseman -- and has paid dearly for it.
I understand the move by SC, but I think this says more about the WEG and the state of the industry than Jimmy Whalen.
It goes back to 2009 and Whelan voiced is dissatisfaction with the revenue sharing with regards to what was outlined by the Canadian Parimutuel Authority. At that time WEG exercised it's property rights which banned Whelan from entering his horses at WEG tracks. At that time the ORC ruled in favour of WEG and then Whelan said he was going to appeal and take it to the Supreme Court which the case was eventually heard and Whelan lost so now because WEG has banned him from entering his horses SC feels it is in their best interest to remove Whelan from the board. And now maybe people will believe when I say WEG has more power than you think, after all SC is really a WEG arm.
