another example of horsemen being used to make a track owner rich. racing had a shot till it started dealing with big casinos. think too when covid is over and a crowd is there betting football and drinking overpriced drinks all day how much will jeff be making then.

Please explain how the horsemen are being used. The track owner isn't getting rich off of them. They are lucky that they still have a place to race.

The horsemen would have been done 20 years ago if not for the slots! They have gotten enough to do nothing more than become chemists. GTFOH!

I'll add that employees such as Brower and Little who are absolutely horrendous at their jobs want to tell you how great the track does and also have a hand out for our state taxes. They are the worst!!!

horsemen have been used since the time casinos have become PARTNERS. horsemens support has allowed casinos to be built for a tiny share of the profits. if not for their support there would be no casinos in most states. now all i hear is how the horsemen are the problem. well if their were no casions most tracks would still handle enough to be open with out any help. so the horsemen are looking for a cut of what is there because of them. as for the big m a slice of sports betting would be fair. the big m is a gold mine. 49 dollar buffets and 18 dollar drinks i dont feel sorry for jeff at all. he is making money and pleanty of it.

They would still have a problem with handle do to betting apps and simulcast. The only time the track really makes money is on track handle. Betting apps take too big of a percentage for the tracks to stand on their own two feet. Which is why we have casinos and subsidies. If the tracks could use half a brain for a second they would cut deals with all betting apps make their own betting app with all the tracks together and keep the money that is bet on their track. Maybe they would be able to support themselves again.

Without the subsidy/welfare from the casinos this game was dead 20 years ago.
It started by needing a harness racetrack to get the casino.
Now they don't need the track and the races are an unnecessary waste of money for the parent company.
It won't survive indefinitely.
Meadowlands has a few hundred to a thousand there for live racing.
Sports betting is always packed with long lines and big money being bet.
Easy to figure out how this movie ends..

All casinos have an obligation to the racetracks. Why should sports betting be different?

if not for their support there would be no casinos in most states.

I think they do a great job. They seem sincere as well as likable. I usually handi-cap before they are on, But they seem very knowledgeable to me (Doesn't mean that much)... P.S The Big M to me is the best harness track that their is. I don't always win, But I usually feel that I wasn't cheated.

Gural owes a lot to the horsemen even though they are useless pieces of shit. If it wasn't for the harness racing game Gural would have had no inroads into a hope for a casino, In the meantime he stumbled into the sports betting so yes he owes the horses and horsemen.
