Just seeing that Tony Kerwood is driving at Cal Expo...that's a big drop for someone who once was a big player in Toronto....

Nobody wins the fight against father time!
-
well, he was never top tier in Toronto and that was a very , very long time ago
brown, condren waples were the top
was racing in British Columbia so guess he just headed down the coast
just fired everything to the front
if he and reg gassien were in the same race watch out
-
never mind those two - if David Smith or Fred the flea Gillis were sitting behind one - that first quarter was "happening"
-
Then there were the horses that left the driver with no other option...
Sean Hanover (Wayne Henry)
Baltic River (Colonel Schneider)

Shady hill pride half in 55.4 at hanover raceway in 1992 with Col

This guy is a total clown butcher. Was never much in Ontario, proved his lack of ability both in Florida and in the west when exposed at Fraser. There has never been a worse driver at cal expo and thats hard company to be the worst.

Tony was great on fallin down ill gaited nags. Drove with no fear just keep hustlin them to the front. Also helped when he drove for Berkeley for many years.

Noted woman beater. POS.
-
some nights it was questionable who was more loaded up , david smith or the horse he was driving
if both were look out
