it is an even money bet are there 9 individual or Breeding farms willing to put up 110K
-
Has a better shot of filling if track would anti up some cabbage but owners are just racing for their own money
-
It will fill plus a few extra. Can’t wait for the shit storm when one of these guys that bought high dollar trotting colts last year gets outdrawn for a spot. I say 11 or 12 enter
-
Takter will buy 3 slots
-
lets hope this race fills and that this becomes the new way for harness racing.... you want to race for welfare money? You have to pay to do so... especially in overnightes, a couple of hundred dollar entry fee would be a great idea.. no one should race for free
-
Cost 100,000 to enter. If you win you get 500k. And that’s Canadian.
Have to be 3rd to about break even. Seems like a suckers bet. Odds are
on same level as supplementing to breeders crown. Not worth it. Only
Good thing about is heard you can sell your entry.

Unique to this race, all purse/entry monies are in US dollars.

Last time I checked it was $110,000 USD to buy a spot behind the gate. Two instalments of $55,000 USD & as has already been posted, the purse is $1,000,000 USD & I agree with your sucker bet definition.

And the nine buyers will pay for the Wellwood winners entry.

I believe when the Breeders Crowns are raced in Canada they also pay in USD?
