Why don't you take these BS questions to another forum. Or are you talking about driving Ms Daisy around  11.wp 11.wp 11.wp

What's next, "should you be in the used car business" ?? That answer probably knot  11.wp 11.wp 11.wp

Depends. Some still have it in their 50s and some are lost. Pierce was still very good up until his last few drives.

I have to agree that drivers seem overpaid
I fully understand that they are the final stage in the process and they ultimately determine the horses success based on their drive
but if you have no horse you have no chance no matter who you are as a driver
I have lots of respect for drivers but  they are making huge cash while so many others struggle
I recall way back when the initial slots program came to Ontario  and purses about doubled the drivers ( and trainers) got a massive pay increase based on their 5% of a much larger number, something should have been adjusted back then
I would like to see 4% for the trainer, 3 % for the driver and 1% for the groom/caretaker , all automatic deductions
that adds up to 8% so the owners get an extra 2% back which would be welcome and help keep more in the business

Some of them have expensive habits to pay for.

Some can't drive very well unless it's snowing.
