Thanks BG - enjoy reading your analysis after I handicap myself to see if there is any horse I want to take a second look at.

Too many stiff jobs though in these type of huge free money races and quite a few mochalk drivers seem willing to manipulate outcome.

I'll be playing NFL today instead.

Look at the bombs last two  nights it's hard to let one of those on top best you could do is key horse for 3rd or 4th with an all on top spots I'm gonna pass as it looks like many no try drives in that pool .best horse wont win that race one with best trip or pulled into it from 3rd over.

Not bad logic small-time. Trip will be more impt than usual. In big fields for super h-5 I often key one or two suck along horses to be 4th or 5th and spread in other slots.

Good luck to all you playing! Hitting would beat getting a peloton for Xmas!

Just looked at program not playing but Id try 2 to win. Nice race last 2 time at this level and if 1 doesn't get away could really change the dynamic of race.

Notice that chody horse (6) likes to be in money. Not a bad 4 or 5 play.

Am I crazy or is the rev always in these races.Maybe old age is setting in but I seem to recall the rev in a few other recent hi-5s.

Duke yes your right 12/1odds with a his horse that can go 151 range 2yrs ago wire to wire in mandatory  payout at big odds as horse is older I'm not sure can go that fast anymore but maybe with a trip like you said but big trainer change on the 7 .

I saw that. Wondered if Sullivan was really training him. If so Tony is known to return sharp horses off layoffs. Nice last quarter in qualifier.

Congrats Rabbit - if I'm reading right your first .20 cent box 123511 was a winner. And payoff was nice.

According to all the experts here, there is no such thing.

Nope, not old age. I said this too in another thread. It's not just coincidence.

Ha. How does Gregg Mcnair get an entry in nearly every mandatory payout race? Pretty sure The Rev has been in at least 2 other mandatory pay races including one where he was like 15-1 m/l went off as the favorite and wired the field without anyone ever attempting to pass.

That's at least 3 times in three years.

Watch this one from December 2016. No one ever attempts to pass.  Came off horribly dark lines from Yonkers if I recall correctly.

Wait, found a 4th time. What are the odds the same horse is entered in at least 4 different mandatory payout races throughout the years?

I only spent a few minutes glancing at the program since I wasn't betting but what struck me was the ml odds on the 5 (12-1 if I recall). My thought was no way that horse will be a Longshot.

too many conspiracy theories
the lines of the five horse did not look great
he raced about close to those lines
why was he taking money??, I assume because of similar chatter to what was on this site
the first 3 finishers were very logical
no foul here
Title: Re: MERRY CHRISTMAS JACKPOT

I'm not saying there was a foul. Just as a guy that literally handicapped thousands (not saying lm the best, just looked at a lot) of mochalk programs over the last 30 yrs the 5 stood out as a horse that wasn't going to be 12-1 based on a 20 second look at the free program. To me and only IMHO, that's a bad line. The public might not include that horse on their tickets when he had a real good chance to be in top 5.

He should have been anywhere from 5-1 through 8-1 ML. I bet him the week before from the nine hole & it was a paid qualifier, just stayed along the cones, then asked for a little pace late.

forget this week's price per se, how does Gregg get him in at least 4 different mandatory payout races?
