This Friday, Saturday and Monday at Mohawk the following trainers have this % of their horses running on Lasix :
Auciello 91%
Moreau 66%
Baillargeon 60%
J Cullen 28%
McNair 40%
-
That Auciello has a higher percentage on lasix than Cullen?
-
And why is that?
-
Bigwrench ... This is why no one trusts this game and the next generation are virtually ignoring it. How can a governing body, looking out for the best of Ontario racing, ignore simple data like this.
Can they not scrutinize vets that hand out ok forms like candy?
It is beyond explanation that horses in the same climate, in the same humidity, all running the same distance would bleed at percentages, that different from trainer to trainer.
Again, the people supposedly controlling the sport, don't have a set of balls amongst all of them. Oh ya, but they've really cracked down on taking your feet out of the stirrups.

so the conclusion we are drawing is that cullen is 100% clean due to the low% of horses on lasix but some or all of the others are not
of course there is a problem in the sport but not sure it is as simple as connecting these dots
-
BrownJug .... I'm not saying it's that simple either, but when handed a present in the form of free data, why not take advantage of it and strike out.
- due diligence on vets
- random farm, home and vehicle checks
- suspended trainers not allowed to be within a mile of a horse farm
- owners of drugged horses suspended along with trainer and horse
Fucking do something !!!
-
agreed , something would be better than what they currently do which is nothing
they put their heads in the sand so as not to kill the golden goose of their employment
-
They would rather celebrate the thieves...Traceur Hanover earns 1 million...how much of that million was due to Cobalt??? give him a fancy placard and a big pat on the back... attaboy...well done...
Filion really wanted the win with him last night...pushed Macdonald to the centre of the track...hooked his wheel and still had to settle for second...where were the judges??? silent as usual...fuc$ing cheats...tell me again why isn't there racing at Blue Bonnets???
-

Bigwrench .... That's what bugs the shit out of me. I am a miniscule player in this business. On a scale of standardbred knowledge from 1 - 10, I am a 4.
Between 2016 and very soon, I will have gone from owning 5 to none. And the only reason, tired of competing on a tilted field, that the industry does nothing to level.
I know my investment won't be missed, but how many folks can you lose before it does?

Once the love of the game fades
And you see wats going on
You think fuck this!
Understood!! tmbz1

Interesting read! Mohawk racing has become a complete shithole like never seen before! I have been playing it for 45 years, the aminorex scandal is nothing compared to what is going on now imo. Full 24hour retention for everyone is the only solution. The expense excuse is bs, install a camera system like never seen before and severe penalties if caught with anything in the paddock!
