Illinois will not see an upswing in ANY horse racing for a VERY longtime. It has however survived until this year which I cant understand how. Once Sportsmans closed the fall of the harness racing era began. Balmoral was eminent .

He should have died on I-355 after 10 whiskey sours too many 6 years ago. Rolled his car but survived because like most dopers and drunks they go limp upon impact. Lucky he didn't kill others with that stunt. Then there's his grandson the murderer / family annihilator.

cops shot Joe Jesk dead last month and put an end to his reign of terror for good. Only served about 1/2 his sentence for killing his wife. Was on meth real bad. Grandpa had some $$$ but family was troubled and kinda hillbilly anyway.
