It's a good move for Monti ,he'll get to drive some nice horses and get noticed by some of the bigger stables, but to say he's top 10 talent is a stretch. He's going to Plainridge, not Meadowlands, when the big boys are there or the grand circuit. I don't think this was about taxes, it was a career choice and I think it will be a good one for both parties, but again, if Frankie has the choice between Zeron and Monti I think it's a no brainer, it's Zeron. Alot of great horseman have come through the western ny circuit, most have done well but some flopped, Gerry Sarama comes to mind

This literally made me laugh out loud! Well done. As for the kid, good luck to him, but the guy that forecast him as being in the Top 10 in the country in a few years better give his head a shake. The driver colony at BR/BUF is the worst in the country by a mile but for Morrill and he's only there intermittently. The rest of those yahoos shouldn't have licenses. Billy Davis Jr. is from Canada and he couldn't get a drive at home and it seems like he wins every other race in Western New York. It's just awful. Yet another example of slots/casino saving the day.
