Track might be packed down - speed? If so I'm trying Sheppard's horse in the 4th 7- Julerica to win at 6-1. Goes from the anchor (lighter version lately ) to McNair.

Also like the 3 aim high Hanover in the 5th at 8-1. That race is very competitive. Chody may want to go home again early and dump the 5.  ngc3

4th race a matter of who had the better gas - montini or Sheppard. 7 hung around well for a horse pressured that set a fast half!

What type of gas does a .209 trainer have? (Montini)
I mean someone has to win every race. I guess when you didn't cap the race correctly, you got beat by someone's "gas".

Could be neither we're juiced but montinis horse went a lifetime best at 8 and survived a long contested trip against a game Sheppard horse.

Both had remarkable staying power in the lane. My opinion, both running on octane.

Montini has his spurts where he wins in a handful of races and then disappears from the winners circle for awhile.

Might not be as greedy as some of the others.  A low profile isn't such a bad thing if your making bucks. It's the greedy idiots that draw the spotlight on themselves that end up in trouble. The list is long and it starts with dutrow (thoroughbreds) and Pena, ledford etc.

John Gotti might still be a mob boss if he had jjstfu. Carlo Gambino had the way you want to roll - low profile.

But just an opinion.

Did any of you "octane" and "gas" theorists even notice that a night earlier, Meg Crone and Anthony Haughan won a race, having just taken a horse from the same barn?

Face it. Some of you don't know how to handicap, so when you lose, you always cry foul.

Tim, Tim, Tim!

Are you mwins too!

Maybe not. Anyway I happened to notice that on 2-13-19 a mwins posted in the sports category under the Amazing thread that he mwins) was involved with  the scheme the Iceman was Hawking to use a computer program to predict sports game outcomes for wagering purposes.

Mwin said" I'm 7-1". So you were hammering home winners then. (Any plopster wanting a good laugh read the Amazing thread).

You sound like the kind of guy I would want advice from. So I'll make a note to watch out for 8 yrs olds that set a lifetime best and according to the track announcer raced huge.

Thanks for the advice; I'll give it the attention warranted.  ngc3

You are missing the point....entirely .
I didn't flat bet the Montini. I used 3 horses that race, and he was included.

The point is, stop crying "gas" when a .209 trainer wins a race.

Tim - always posting updates after the fact. Your hockey picking machine (see Amazing thread under Sports) was 11-1 at one point after the fact and there you refused to post your picks in advance so the audience could judge the machines actual proficiency. Reasonable people might find this deceitful.

Post your picks in advance and then you can fatmouth when your correct!
