In a ground-breaking result, it was not an Australian stud that beat out its New Zealand counterparts in securing the Down Under breeding rights to Lazarus.

The Interdominion winner has been backed by the New South Wales Harness Racing Club, which operate Menangle raceway.

Woodhouse said one of the major benefits of the newly secured deal was that the profits Lazaurus’ service fees would be injected back into New South Wales harness racing by the New South Wales Harness Racing Club.

“The big thing is that Menangle will reinvest any profits they make in to the industry, it is not going to America or anywhere else.”

The NSW Racing club outbid a bunch of NZ Studs.

Now the questions will be how good will his offspring be?. Will he be a great sire or a dud? Time will tell but

LOL, I thought I had finished but obviously didn't. But, I think he will be a very good sire for the reason that Mike Campbell mentions
