Between 9-10 for me usually. Horses fed everyday in the morning at about 8. I've never understood the thinking that the earlier youre there, the more you must work, or you're lazy if you aren't there at 6. Trainer A brags he was there at 6, all jogged by 10, with 20 horses, so he works harder than trainer B who starts at 9, and is there an hour longer done at 2, putting only 15 away.  No, I'm just not a moron that wants to be done by 11 to go home and nap. Start jogging at 9, I'm well rested, so are the horses, so is the help, no one is grouchy,  lunch after jogging at around 2, feed dinner at 6, like a normal work day, with adjustments made on race days, but if I had a dollar for every time one of these clowns bragged to me "well I was here at 5" I'd be loaded. I always just want to say, congratulations, youre exhausted, you're horses barely slept at night, and you have nothing else to do but nap or sit at the bar all day now lol.

7 isn't horrible but then they need fed at 6. It's not even light here at 6. lol. Plus here, in the winter, it's 10-15 degrees that early before the sun is up. Big difference a little later in the day.

To me its the number of tasks a trainer pays someone else to do is what makes them lazy.  Hard working trainers feed, paddock, and warm up when the number of horses allow it.  I don't care what time my trainer gets to the barn as long as the work gets done.  I prefer the guy I pay to be hands on as much as possible.

The most important time for a trainer to be there is about 3:30 pm when the tubes and needles start flying.

In this instance,The fuc has been feed off schedule. He or She won't RUN.

Greyhounds squirting the pee like crazy - now, that's the one that you want to bet on.  When it comes to horseplop ... no bearing whatsoever.  Only in john frank's tiny, little pee brain.

Who cares what time the trainer gets to the barn. It is more important when the Vet. gets to the barn.

It's a WONDERMENT that you MORONS never win.
(1) You all have a need to bet .10 cent SUPERS every race at every track. You DIMWITS don't do any HANDICAPPING.
(2) A person gets FORM day before and studies. Then the next day. One checks track conditions, scratches, jockey changes, male horses that first time gelded.
(3) NO ONE pays attention to MORNING LINE. It's your money and your DECISION to bet it. Morning line makers are TOTAL IDIOTS.
(4) NOW you can arrive at track and get any late scratches. Your prepared. Your only gonna make at most 3 bets. Maybe not even that.
(5) Say you like a horse in particular race and want front wraps off. Comes out front wrapped. YOU PASS the RACE.
(6) A person can go to track and enjoy. Sit back and drink with tips,$100.00. Your only lookin for certain races to bet. And them races ain't CHALKS. People will come up to you every race and say WHO YOU LIKE. They bet every race,at every track and within a hour their broke. Then they want to borrow or want you to buy half of their DUMBASS bet. You tell them. I'll buy you some beers, but NO LOANS and YOU ain't buying in.
(7) PATIENCE. That what one do. Someday's one don't even make a bet. Your down a $100.00 drinkin. Who cares. Your the most famous name at track. Your known and have been for years.
(8) Over years,You hit some nice ones. Then your bar bill is $300.00.
(9) PHILOSOPHICAL WISDOM from one JOHN FRANK ARMY.
(10) I AM,JOHN FRANK ARMY. I AM THE MAN.

Trainer time is 24 hours per day and 7 days per week.  If you hire the right people, you might get some sleep.
