Often wondered if it’s the best or worst time of year to pick one up? The good? Maybe someone looking to unload at a better than normal tag. The bad?.... the horse is exhausted and won’t be able to handle the winter racing and it’s nothing but paying the training bills for the winter. Thoughts?

lots of money to be made in the winter
buy one at the mixed sale or claim some of the three year olds that are in for a tag

early imo...catch a guy puttin one in for a tag cuz he cant find a condition and wont ship...easy pickins tmbz1

Make sure you claim the 3yos before Dec. 31 so you pay the 50% juice...that's usually a good strategy.
