Title: Who is the best AMERICAN trainer on trotters?

Takter is a U.S. citizen. Unless you are an American Indian, that makes him an American.

Does anyone think starting with MILLIONS of dollars worth of trotters helps one become great? How many have to be ruined to make you a Hall of Fame trainer? Usually its around 90%. Horses make the humans, not the other way around.

I love the guys work ethic and his never quit attitude but how many young well bred trotters didnt survive his tough way of working them......just think of the ones that may have been good raceway trotters that never made it because of his need to get them to the track and start earning money...survive or burn....no in between!!

Cancielliere is terrible, he will never be a trainer. He makes Cat Manzi wear his colors when Cat warms up his horses. I'm certain Cat only does it because he gets a very hefty salary but that shows you right there that the guy is an idiot.
