Harness Racing / Re: Losing the whip.« Last post by Kirby's Ace on Today at 05:48:36 PM »I'd like to know why they can't card a race or two each night with no whips allowed and see how the public responds in wagering each one. And be fair and not make it nw's ham sandwich either! Or give the trainer a say if they want or not for the driver to carry a whip in the race at entry and note it in the program. What would it hurt to try?

some of the Sire stakes races with these 1/9 shots--taking $2.20 to place--its actually worth a shot a few times a year of you dont mind laying 10/1...my ADW has been allowing me to do it a few hundred without me getting a phone call 9
Harness Racing / Re: Maine Racing« Last post by Love For Animals on Today at 05:21:40 PM »Positives in Maine?? Shane Bacon will push those under the rug for his favorites. Believe me, Butterfield is no different than the superstar Board Members. They know how to play the game in Maine. Go to the Ridge, different story. Bull crap racing politics and the horses and honest people suffer. Oh wait, there are very few honest ones left in Maine.
