Post by: dinkadoo on June 07, 2020, 08:45:55 AM: Watching the replays from last Saturday --- Maybe it will be a benefit, maybe not, but there were a lot of sore forearms last Saturday for the grabbing in to give up holes or to just not try.....You could see some prices tonight as horses off the board and buried perhaps get some class relief and pop ( at least I hope )

seems like in many races the 2 or 3 top dogs know who the "live" dog is..
they wager some sucker money to get the hicks and dummies on the
"late" money...and then cancel and bet the real $$...and the horse seems
to win...happened 2 of the 3 races I have just watched...just last race at Scioto and previous at Hawthorne.Busines s is being done at both
tracks..easy to spot...but not easy to cash...If u watch wagering the last 2 minutes you will see what I am talking about.

from a handicapping standpoint. Relaltively small pools and Insiders
playing games with drivers trying for second money or taking the $300-800 to be out..Same thing different day.

Horrible track..my stupidity as there are no other tracks
except Austrailia with 25 horses in each race.
Trouble with US Harness tracks is no drug testing and no rule enforcement.If you really want to gamble the thorobreds only way to go.
The harness all doped up ,rigged or they pay $75 or $3.20.
Like the blackjack dealer in Vegas Vacation said..
"give me 1/2 your money and i will kick u in the balls"
That should be on the Hawthorne advertisement.
31-1 beats a 4/5 in front by 5 lengths.
