WHY A 4 HORSE FIELD AT THE MEADOWLANDS ON SATURDAY NIGHT
« on: April 27, 2023, 05:45:02 AM »
i SEE THEY HAVE A 4 HORSE FIELD ON THIER CARD ON SATURDAY. NEVER SEEN THIS BEFORE. THEY ALSO HAVE 3 EARLY NON-BETTING RACES WITH VERY SMALL FIELDS. CURIOUS WHY THEY WOULDN'T MAKE THIS ANOTHER NON-BETTING RACE AND ADD A DIFFERENT CLASS WITH A FULL FIELD.

THERE HAS TO BE SOME REASON. ANYONE KNOW?HOW MUCH WILL BE HANDLED IN A RACE WITH ONLY 4 HORSES

The NJ Breeders Classic is a flop this year.  Just happens but in the 4 horse field it seems no one wanted to buck heads with Niki Hill and Treacherous Dragon.  There are several races at tracks around the country every night where there are just one or two standouts.
This will be a very good match race, maybe not to bet but to watch.  I’m looking forward to it.

People will bet on a coin toss as long as they think it's legit

Not a good look for them. They will walk around the track for over 3/4 quarters of a mile and then sprint the last 3/16ths. Two very good horses in a paid qualifier.

I would expect it's because they can't fill fields to race. So why not card the race and get some handle rather than loose a entire race. Non betting race equals zero handle.

Either exacta 34 43 figures to pay about $0.40 on the winning dollar.

Too bad they don't offer a dead heat sucka bet for N&T at 25-1, I think I'd be down for 20 for a giggle and a shot!

Yeh, wtf are they thinking?!  ;D

Gural should insist on GSY Billings drivers for this race as well.

Heavy showers will be moving in from the south around post time. I won’t waste my time on this circus. I will find better plays and better racing. Plenty to choose from. I no longer will support this shit show.

Playing tonight but dont really luv saturdays card. 1st is amateur and 4 horse field looks like coin toss btw ryder and takter. Thankfully im going fishing saturday. I do like one horse up north at the track they call woodbine at mohawk. In the last (12th) i been waiting for dennis st pierre horse to get a few preps in and drop in class. 6 horse is 8-1 ml. I think reasonably will be 4 or 5 -1. All you need faith n now drops to lowest condition. 9 yr old had over 100 k in winnings last yr and went 149 and change at big m in that campaign. Form is good. Shipped from saratoga last month and has 2 races over mohawk.Last weeks first over move in higher class shows some intent. My sole saturday bet will be $100 to win. Dennis wins a few a yr at mohawk when conditions are right.

Gl wherever ur playing.

Your $2 gets 3.00 to win and that same $2 gets "an even better" 3.00 for an exacta. Anemic 59k pool total and not a single person outside when Niki came back to the winners circle. BLACK EYE joke.
