Haven’t seen any good ones yet. None I’ve seen seem to carry their speed.

That's what it looks like so far.  101 foals 12 have marks but only one under 2.00

For comparison

Chapter 7 from 91 foals 23 have marks 10 under 2.00
Walner  from 103 foals 17 have marks 9 under 2.00
Muscle Hill 70 foals 8 with marks 3 under 2.00

It does seem like going under 2.00 is pretty rare so far this year for most 2 yr old trotters.  Seems times are overall slower than the past few years from what I remember. Maybe it's not hot enough.

Hanover doesn’t typically miss on their higher end stallions. He’s got a ton of support, maybe they’re just taking longer to get gaited?

Too early to tell yet, but he has been afforded every opportunity in terms of mares. If he flops this year I imagine Hanover will drop him like a hot potato.

I think Gimpanzee will get the job done.  Wonderfully bred, speed, great looking horse and made lots of money.

It is too early to judge him as a stallion. Not much money on the line yet. But Melander did him no favors by bringing a bunch to qualifying races that were not ready

Just watched 2yr ols at the meadows. Not really impressed with the greenshoe's. For the $ you spend they ain't any monsters out there, look like nice horses but that's all.
