Has anyone seen it? I added it up last sunday they actually handled 300k . is that a good or bad number for there?
-
$250k a race is better than most. You're not likely to move prices much with a $20 win bet on 20/1 or less.
-
Pocono does 500k on sundays with 14 races
-
good handle and good racing at Ocean
-
that was 300k for the entire card. not per race.

yes, my typo.
-
That's more then double what I would have guessed..I'm in this Sunday..look for handle to go up $20
-
$3000,000 handle is the breaking even number.
-
Guess they don’t make any money even though it’s only open 3 months

Kicks the shit out of Tiogo. Got a pool shot p4 a couple weeks ago, paid $400
-
300,000 I meant. That’s what the Gm at the meadows told my wife Jean a few years ago. If they handle that. Is only a break even for the track to turn on the lights.

According to the Maryland Racing Commission, the average daily all-source Ocean Downs live racing handle has nearly doubled from 2014 to 2017 :
2013 $82,565
2014 $72,014
2015 $95,214
2016 $94,953
2017 $132,997
-
Well 2 years later it’s nearly tripled
-
Their break even depends on how many old ladies spend their ss checks at the slots...horse racing has zero to do with their bottom line.

Terrible handle. Nfld, Big M, Mohawk, and Hawthorne is the only 4 you can bet
