I know he bought at least 1 Sweet Lou and is also going to drive some horses down there he has in training. He told one of the reporters down there that he has 300 in training and knows what each one is doing every day
Bettors Delight had 36 in the North Island Sale. and 45 in South Island sale so 81 Bettors Delights. Effing amazing.

What they need to do up here is buy up yearlings from down there. Especially from the South Island. It is arguably the best place in the world to raise young horses. There are not enough being bred to US Time down there and they need to change that.
Now prices are nothing like up here but some of these yearlings are stunning in looks and conformation. Love You which is a well known French Stallion just had a colt go for $280,000 a few hours ago. Those things run all day long. It is mind-boggling how US trainers and owners have not gone for some of them up here. European blood with the speed of US bred mares is going to lead to 1:48 trotters IMO.

Will never happen. He props up too many races. He is now an untouchable. I went to NZ sale but was here for cruise vacation and dropped in. Not much excitement.
