Betting young horses requires more consideration than grand circuit races. Some trainers are in the lets be 2nd or 3rd and get more $ because the horse is never going to be that good driving scheme. Other barns are using early races as learning tools. Blais barn seems to be in the latter driving lane. Some barns like to win early. You guys above know this; quit bellyaching been this way a long time. Use it to ur advantage. I wouldnt be anchoring down on any 3/5 horse in a nw 1.

Once blais trotters reach stakes level though, they often run better than paper looks. I always use lucs trotters on bottom of ex and tri then even if they dont appear as  capable. Unfortunately for  me most are hip to this now. They always take $ now whereas 5-10 yrs ago not always the case.

I do appreciate the noise about the track they call woodbine at mohawk  ngc3 though. Are some real funky drives there more often than other tracks. Does make one wonder what is behind that but looks fishy at times. Maybe has something to do with this fucked up name they gave track. Mighta jinxed mohawk by giving it assanine name! Isnt that a native american name too - double bad karma. Rename this track. Washington redskins became washington football team for awhile. Maybe new name should be woodbine at some 7/8 mile track!. Ill float the idea to weg.

I find the racing at Mohawk very interesting. I love that they give you the program online. I keep an eye on four drivers there. Of course Roy, Sylvain Fillion, Travis Cullen (when he drives for Jodie) and a guy named Matthew Bax.I have done well with Bax because i might be the only guy who bets him. When he does win or runs in the money, it's seems it's always at a price.

I don’t know what you clowns are looking at… the horse had plenty of pace on end of mile. Total stiff job for sure. If the horse was lame he would not have paced through the fucking wire with absolutely no urging

I always understood that if you listen more and talk less, you can learn something important. Thanks to this thread, i wagered $20W and 40P on #9 Kinnder Thinktwice in the 10th race tonight at Woodbine. It was this talk about Roy and trainer Luc Blais that helped me make a little score. Although #9 ran second at 9-1, i made a tidy little profit from the race. I love this site!
