She could benefit from a Dave Miller or Jim Morrill jr.

Nobody is going to “make” this filly do anything she doesn’t want to do.  Bobby my never be a household name but he is competent. Looked like she over paced a bit in the turn. She going to be 3yr old filly of the year why risk making changes

Drivers like Herve, Case, Hennessey and Pierce did "make" horses do things. All of them dwarf a McClure and a horse like her would benefit from those hands.  I had a whack job lightning bolt NZ pacer.  John Patterson politely asked not to drive him again, Donald Dancer grumbled as he walked away, Carmine got angry that the horse wore a shit towel and said NEVER PUT ME DOWN ON THAT RAG..... Herve? 2 fingers, servicable 27k claimer with a big turn of speed. never an issue with him.

Exactly, & the betters knew also. She did not even go off as the favorite.

I said this after the race "She's probably the biggest freak out there right now but she's flat goofy.  She does what she wants to do when she wants to do it.  She likes to pull up, shy away from stuff, & touches herself in the turns.  Take her to Colonial and she probably goes some stupid mile.  Probably needs someone like Pelling or Jimmy T to rig her up and get her over her bad habits."
