sad really how any safety response is still circa 1970
and in this case thank god the hub fail is gone
but really , as they go back by the spot the horse was down what do you see, the driver holding the horse and a few caretakers running towards them
i know i would want to be a driver badly injured in a race, you likely would not make it to the hospital and i don't mean a broken collarbone or busted leg but a serious injury that requires immediate medical assistance

SIMON IS A MAGICIAN IN THE BIKE... HAS NO FEAR WHATSOEVER
-
Simon stiffed the horse , no excuses accepted , NONE

True statement. If you've never sat behind a horse breaking while traveling 35mph you have no idea how scary that is. No driver wants to intentionally be put in that spot. Simon did everything he could with that one to keep that from turning into a pileup

THAT IS AN ABSOLUTE MISTRUTH OR LIE. I DIDNT SEE THIS RACE SO NO COMMENT BUT BREAKING IS THE MOST COMMON WAY TO BE OUT.
9 OUT 10 DRIVERS ARE COMPLETE FUCKING CROOKS.

There is no way a driver on the front end with a horse on his helmet intentionally makes a break. If he goes down chances are you or the horse are getting hurt. Plus you're putting the lives of the ones behind you in jeopardy.

HOW MANY HORSES ON THE FRONT BREAK?

I dont care where he is in the race. No driver ever ever breaks horse on purpose during race....if you think that your lost and have no clue
-
Hand holders in the proper position could’ve helped
-
Is the driver and horse O K ?
-
I've heard of trainers letting the hopples out a couple holes without reporting to cause break then pulling back in next start.

Sorry never has a driver broke a horse on purpo
se during a race..there is too many other ways to cheat. That is 100 percent not one of them.
