Bullshit! I don't. I don't even like to see pushing 2 year olds past 3 or 4 starts their first year.

Frederick Bourgeault trained horses for fellow French Canadian Luc Ouellette a few years back, are they still connected?

No!  Crucity them, with nails, not rope. In the insurance fraud 70's, etc, a horrifying method was used. Who knows how it was done?

I know there was simultaneous electrocution and suffocation  Ass and head

Electroction is correct using 12 volt car battery hooked ground to lip.  Horses have no impedence to electricity, quite uncivilized. Many high priced horses that turned out to be duds were victims. It didn't end until ins. carriers caught on.

Wasn't this the method Buddy Jacobson and that whole swindle involving the Brachs candy heiress used out in Chicago?   You know that sometimes I am reluctant to mention names on here but I will say this, a nice mid level claimer of mine who was as honest as the day is long and a good gambling horse, met that fate long after I had him at the hands of TONY BUFFALINO after the horse had benn claimed by "everybody"  Made me sick to hear that then and I still wince thinking about it.. I had heard they were putting vinyl bags over there heads as well as electrocuting them through their anus. Sick shit

Skeeter Pines was 2nd trainer and very close with Joe Ricco when he had public stable at Monti .. i believe he ended up committing suicide though i'm not 100% sure

Skeeter Pines was Joe Ricco's trainer. There were others involved besides the names mentioned that for some reason didn't get indicted. They were the biggest scum to walk the earth. Romano deserves to die a slow painful death. He used to prod every horse he had. No surprise he would be involved. Dr. Ellsworth was a slime ball. He would sign off on all these horse's "deaths" for the insurance company. I know Barchi and Sparacino are dead. I hope they are rotting in hell.

I remember as a boy seeing "E. Pines'  or "Ed Pines jr" or something in the program   Is this him?

Ed Pines Sr. had nothing to do with the killings. His son Skeeter (Ed Pines Jr.) was a dirtbag that trained for Ricco. Like I posted, trust me, there were many others involved that never got indicted. I would love to name names but I think I better keep my mouth shut. I will give you a hint of who else was involved. The father was a big big big big time gambler at Yonkers. His son trained and drove at Monti and eventually at Yonkers. The kids second trainer who was a real scum bag was also involved. I've said enough.

Well, I know he had issues and at one point wasn't allowed to drive a car here in the US. I acknowledge the circumstances under which he "left" the business while on top were always suspicious to me. But I always liked the kid and he always did right be me.

The name is part of the linked article. This was the first wave of horse killings that happened in NJ. The second wave happened in upstate NY

The most hysterical part of the plot is their second trainer who gave them all up for immunity. When you figure out his last name, you will get a chuckle.

I agree. My 2 yo seaside was having some issues so I told my trainer to kick him out after 5 starts. I scratch my head when I see some of Nick Clegg's 2 yo's going into the fair championships at Northfield Sat. with 24/26 starts already.

Yeah Jr. is who I'm speaking of. If the right was easier he still does things the wrong way every time. I think he did about a 3 year stint cut short.
