The racing is formful and there are pools to be taken advantage of. Outside favorites are still great underlays and I'm finding the horizontals especially attractive. Big pools, good horses. I don't get the dislike I see here.

I agree
Outside horses do provide value there
Especially the rebates which are good at most online sites
I get 11 percent wps there
There’s still not enough movement imo
As a lot of horses are just looking for sub 1st place checks as those equate to b level track first place checks
Not enough to get over the bad rep they got with Banca knowing when the black box was in play and his inside posts

I HATE IT!!! No matter what they do over the decades, almost never does a horse pass another horse, horrible racing going back to the Parker and Case days, just pitiful ,and the camera angle still SUCKS,and the finish line SUCKS,and that ass holes hair SUCKS,close it down
-
Unfair draws...certain trainers seem to get inside posted..all the time
-
boring racing..the place is a dump ...
-
predetermind

exibition racing ,like the wwf

LETS SEEEE ??ITS THE MOST FAVORED TRACK IN THE WORLD...ONLY CERTAIN TRAINERS AND DRIVERS ARE ALLOWED TO MAKE MONEY..ALL OTHERS WILL BE THROWN OUT OR GIVEN THE 8 HOLE TILL THEY LEAVE ngc3 ngc3 ngc3
AND LETS NOT FORGET !!! ITS THE ONLY TRACK WITH KNOWN STIFF DRIVES...AND NOW THEY ARE HIDING A FACT THAT THE PRESIDING JUDGE WAS CORRUPT...AND THEY DONT POST WHAT HAPPENED ALTHOUH EVERYONE KNOWS THE JUDGE GOT CAUGHT BEING DIRTY !!!!!!!!!!!
I THINK ILL SKIP..TYVM

Camy H took away the euro rail but should had left the finish line alone that would have made for more exciting racing. As far as the outside posts thay say they will do something to the starting gate but thats been tried before with no success. Either your horse has to have speed and class from the outside or a commotion up front for closers otherwise there is a disadvantage.
Should also have Superfecta betting every race every night. Should also try 50 cent triples and rolling pick 3's. All good for the bettors and the handle.

cammie h or cammie A ????

Very boring racing

It’S not the tracks fault. It’s half mile track racing. At the high level of horses that are racing there; speed will always normally holdup on the front end. Unless you can leave like a runner the outside horses have little or no chance. If the leaders get a slow second Q in you would have to pace the third in :26 just to get up to them. It’s the nature of racing on a half.

not much passing if they pet walk,

What do you recommend. Open to any answers. You can’tforce Guys to try the leader before the half and youcan’t Blame the leader for backing the quarter down if no one comes. Only thing I can think of is the old judges ruling of fining the leader for failing to maintain a pace comparable to the class. Might work?

Remove some of the
Empty parking spaces and make it a mile track
-
They have more boat races then Rhoad Island.

THE DEGENERATE GAMBLER IS JUST PLAIN JEALOUS THAT HORSEMEN WHO RACE HERE MAKE BIG MONEY. AND THEY DONT. RACES LINE UP, SO INSTEAD OF TAKING WHAT IS GIVEN, AND BETTING THE LINE UP, THEY, STUPID AS THEY ARE, TRY TO BEAT ALL OF THEM, THEN CRY LIKE BABIES WHEN THEIR STUPID BET DONT MATERIALIZE. GAMBLERS KEEP FORGETTING THIS SPORT ISNT HERE FOR THEM, IT IS FOR HORSEMEN AND TRACK OWNERS TO MAKE A LIVING. AWWW... TOUGH SHIT

I think since taking out the passing lane, which I consider a positive move, they should install a hub rail as it used to be. I think the drivers are, to some extent, afraid to violate the pylon rule by going to the inside and a rail gives them a point of reference. Just fine and continue to fine the B boys until they stop slamming on the brakes and continue to steal races with those ridiculous 2nd qtrs. that destroys anything resembling an outter flow. Also, and this will never happen, but it would greatly change the dynamics of Yonkers racing, would be to do away with Brennan, Stratton, and Bartlett, et al getting to constantly choose the best horse with the best post, thus bullying the front end pace. I for one am sick of hearing the same old bullshit narrative of Bartlett and Brennan always in front at the Quarter .28.1, half in .58.3 at 2-5. Pull first-over into that and see what happens unless you happen to be Simon Allard.

I saw on Twitter that Yannick Gingras recently said the following about racing at Yonkers:
"Unfortunately Frank until we can be outside more than 2 turns and actually have a chance to get a check no one will pull early and the 2nd quarters will be slow. Banking the turns is the only way it will happen imo. Drivers do what works and pulling early just doesn’t work at YR"

Lets phrase this thread in a little different light. Name something GOOD about racing (aka pet walking) at Yawnkers.
Home of none other than the MOST OVER RATED DRIVER ever to sit in a race bike Jasin *** 11.wp 11.wp 11.wp 11.wp 11.wp 11.wp 11.wp 11.wp
Isn't it time for Daddy Bartlett to start asking "why can't my son get BIG DRIVES in BIG RACES for BIG MONEY against BIG NAME drivers 11.wp 11.wp 11.wp 11.wp
Yes folks, year 11 and STILL counting ngc3 ngc3 ngc3 ngc3 ngc3 ngc3 ngc3 ngc3 ngc3 ngc3

I'll name something good, Hush.
The horizontals, especially Pick-3's and Doubles, are generally ridiculously generous compared to a parlay.
That means one of two things:
1. The horizontals are, indeed, great overlays.
2. Win prices are greatly underlaid and the horizontals more accurately reflect true odds.
I believe it is the former, not latter for good reasons that are too complex to explain here.
I could not care less about the prime rib, what the grandstand looks like, who is driving what or who is fucking who.
The only thing that matters is my money.
I hope and trust this helps.

How is the racing better without a passing lane? because the horse 3rd pulls? It hasn't made any fractions faster and the horse in the pocket literally has no chance.
-
I agree with Anakin. Bank the turns big time and make the track more like Northfield or Delaware. It probably still wouldn't matter. At this level the horses on top aren't going to stop. Race is usually over in the first eighth. I said it earlier; it's half mile track racing. To those that said extend the track. That's not an option.(no room)

Over a million in purses and not one mention. Yonkers is awful.30 second second quarter is for Cumberland. Amazing.
-
Big stables monopolize the driving/racing by getting the best drivers -who get "favors" when they drive for them. Then when they get on a smaller stable -on a horse that isnt raging favorite--they will give up "holes" or stay out of everyones way-collecting favors along the way for when they need them when driving for top stables.Thats what it appears to me watching.
I would like to see that every horse has to have a different driver for 3 consecutive starts.
Depending on the class--fine drivers for going too slow second 1/4-enforce this-because drivers will vehemently protest this.
0ver 29 seconds in classes over nw/15000
Over 30 seconds in lower classes.

The big race was awesome. tmbz1 tmbz1 tmbz1

Northfield's banking isn't for every horse, especially some trotters. I'd have to say that Delaware is one of the worst tracks to make up ground on the outside. It's a half mile with 5/8 mile type turns. As much as i like Delaware, it's definately a track for front enders. Horses just seem to hang out there on the turns. I guess if some people think that Yonkers is a set up track, then you should be winning a lot of races there. You've got it all figured out...right. I like Yonkers.
