Agree.  Worth a shot if you have money to burn, very risky

Big pass?? May I ask why?? If colt is any good I’m nearly positive next foal will go for 6 figures easy…people pay $50000 for 3 legged claimers at Yonkers but won’t take a shot for $25000 for colt with exceptional pedigree??? Makes zero sense but what would I know

I am going to guess from the comments that the colt had a really big conformational defect, and probably without the bloodlines could've dropped a 0 from the price. I didn't lay eyes on him besides his video but that pretty sure one look at that can probably lead you to what that defect might be.

I will add, plenty of horses with conformational defects go on to be nice horses but if I had $25-30k to spend on a yearling he would not be my choice, even with that pedigree.

There was a hooker only charging 10 dollars next to the facility..that was quite a bargain.

The difference is you can see what kind of speed and more importantly heart the claimer has. With a yearling you will not know till the drop in a race
