Jumpin Joe went to Red Mile today to drive 3 horses all trotters.  1 win (thanks to the spirit of queen bea  ) and 2 seconds .. Purse money won $40,000

In the past year although like everyone else he has driven 4 to 5 times more pacers than trotters He actually has a higher win % and a higher UDR on trotters than he does on pacers.

Clueless people ..    He wasn't bought to make money on the track although that was certainly a hope.  His brother stands for 25,000 and his first offering was sold out.  I don't know how many he is limited to but if he only gets 100 mares a year thats 2.5 mil per year, and that doesn't even count the overseas possibilities if they deal in frozen semen. 

If this horse stands for 5,000 in somewhere like Ohio or Indiana when he's done that's a half mil per year with those same low numbers.  He could retire tomorrow undefeated with a fake injury and be syndicated for more than what they paid.

A upfront million to the people who own this horse (Maverick Racing Partnership ) is pennies to the average person.
