Pick 5 & Pick 6 Carryovers, Meadowlands 12-31-2021
« on: December 31, 2021, 10:49:04 AM »
1st Race a Pick Five Carryover of $38,923.56 & In The 8th Race a Pick Six Carryover of $6,131.95,

Carryovers are some of the best wagers around, because in most cases tonight's takeout is replaced with the carryover.

Looks like some very competitive races tonight that should lead to some nice prices?

Who Do You Like? Who Don't You Like?

HAPPY NEW YEAR & Good Luck To All!!

The takeout on the P5 tonight will not be "replaced". The pool will be huge. Still a good opportunity. great opportunity if you have a strong opinion in a couple races. Largely Competitive fields

I'm not sure I agree, but we will see???? What do you think the new pool money will be?

At 260k of new money it would be a wash, I was thinking of around 200k+ of new money?

The reason I say this is cause the article on uatrotting says the last time they had a carry in the p5, it drew 370k.
Not many other tracks racing tonight.

Seemed like short timing between...1h20 or so? How long is that drive normally?

About 80 miles.  I believe they left after the 7th at Philly.

Question for all:   Is the P5 a mandatory payout tonite?

No I don't believe its mandatory, so if only 4 of 5 were hit it would carryover to next Friday night.

1st - 3 Checkered Past 2,7,1
2nd - 2 Cecil Casanova 1,5,8
3rd - 4 Winning Linc 1,7,2
4th - 1 Inforce 3,8,7
5th - 3 Just N Ace 2,1,7

Noticed other tracks were forced to pay out this week before year end including Pompano and the Meadows. Different rules each state or does Jeff make his own rules?
